So today we went from being 11 weeks and 4 days, to 12 weeks and 2 days - how did we lose a whole week in just an instant?? Baby is now shifting into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed. Crazy!We had our NT Scan today and got to see the baby again!
Baby was waving his or her arms all around. It's crazy that three weeks ago, all we had was a little tiny peanut - and now it's a real baby!! We got to see both arms and both legs - and the heart rate measured at 159 beats per minute, which the tech said was perfect. Oh, and baby Samblanet is 2 inches long these days! :) I can't wait until we get to go back and see more.
