As you may have noticed, I decided to take the weekend off from blogging about our big trip home. This was mostly because we were staying in Fresno and doing normal daily tasks, but it was also because I needed to take the weekend off from my blogging job. This is hard work!
We started Day 7 by packing up our stuff and moving everything to the hotel we'd reserved with the rest of the wedding party. Then we went to the mall to look for a wedding outfit for Finley. We couldn't find anything suitable (everything was all summery, but nothing was dressy), so we decided to have him wear an outfit we'd brought with us. Then we met up with some of my friends for a little while before they headed out to the rehearsal dinner. After that it was grocery shopping, oil changing, and dinner. Then we met back up with our friends for a few drinks before calling it a night.
Not exactly the action-packed day that our readers expect, but it was great for us. After six days on the road it was great to stay in one place for a few days and it was even better to meet up with friends.
